Sentosa IV - Getting to Sentosa, finally

This is the Jewel Box, the final stop of the Cable Car to Sentosa, as well as a gift shop :) and a restaurant.

The bell, the Bell of Happiness, is from Dar Pomorza, a Polish ship. No real explanation of what it does in Singapore...

I guess happiness goes with love...

This must be related to Chinese New Year, with wishes hanged on this (artificial) tree.

The rest room :)

Inside the restaurant.

The cable car.

A little bit closer. The first tower is one of the pylons. Then there is a stop in the middle tower of the blue buildings close to Harbour Front MRT station. Then there is one more pylon on the other side. And of course it is Sentosa Island in the background.

The view from the Jewel Box.

That is Sentosa island.

Ok, let's go.

That is the Jewel Box, the start.

A cabin coming from the opposite direction. With the harbor and Sentosa Gateway the in the background.

The pylon coming up.

The intermediate stop coming up.

But before that the view to the left (east)...

...and to the right (west).

Half-way.

And here we go again.

DFS Singapore Cruise Centre and Sentosa Island.

Resorts World Sentosa. The buildings are the Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, at the right end of the building that is the head of the Sentosa Merlion. The whale to the left is S.E.A Aquarium.

Also part(s) of Resorts World.

A peek back again.

Brani Island and Sentosa Gateway.
