Sentosa VI - Beaches

This was my first view of the "beach". This is not the beach yet, only the view from a car park. But it already shows you how misleading certain pictures can be. (Not counting the darkness of the picture because of the strong sun.) This is a nice sunny beach.

But this is its backdrop: oceanliners.

This is Palawan Beach. The main beach in the center of the south shore.

This is the Southernmost Point of not only Singapore, but also of Continental Asia - not counting the fact that Sentosa is an island of Singapore Island.

It is that little island at the other end of the bridge.

And I have arrived and been there.

The views. This is towards Sentosa, with the head of Merlion in the center.

This is due north.

 This is south.

 Back to Sentosa Island.

Tanjong Beach (east)

Siloso Beach (west)

Siloso beach is also home to Fort Siloso.

Perhaps next time I'll go in. Until then.

Meanwhile on the island...

This is the sign for a restroom. Not only does the sign look good, it houses showers and kiddie showers as well.

This is the beach tram :) The good thing about it is that it runs the southern shore from the east end (Tanjong Beach) to the west end (Siloso Beach) and it is completely free.

Singaporeans have style and they can also be funny.

Information on the wildlife.

Signs on the loose. Hilarious! Not that I always understand...

???

This is funny, if you also see its location...

...right in front of a beach section :)

:)

This is my absolute favorite!
