Dengue
The dengue situation in Singapore showed a marked improvement last week, with the number of cases dropping to the lowest in slightly more than a year. The Ministry of Health said there were 197 cases last week, the lowest since January 2013, when 132 cases were reported. (Source)

Sixty-one foreign nationals were arrested in the forested areas in Punggol during an operation on Friday night. The suspects are believed to have used the cover of the forest for various illicit activities such as vice and gambling. The suspects, comprising men and women, were arrested for wilful trespass on state land or offences under the Women's Charter.
